He also used to say...

"Cut the grab ass - I can hear the PreWorldWarOne china!"

I finally figured out years later that it was the cieling fan with glass covers over the bulbs that he actually heard.

I still remember when he came upstairs and found me with my first girlfriend who was only partially dressed. my pulse quickens just to remeber the combined embarresment of the three of us.

as my father used to say:

Where there's a will, there's a relative.

So I don't know in the end how it all works when there is no body to bury.
The two theories of how my friend died are:
Suicide or siezure.

Since he had made a lot of friends here at IDT - but most of them weren't in regular contact, I've had this horrible spotlight for the past 2 days as the vultures circle around picking up as much of what happened as they would like to hear...

Well ain't I a cheery bear?

Haifa police: J'lem man fell off ship and drowned
By JPOST.COM STAFF

Haifa police released Sunday afternoon the name of a vacationer who disappeared last week from the passenger ship Iris.

Gershon Ellen Baruchis, 52, from Jerusalem apparently did not disembark from the Iris upon its return to Haifa from Marmaris, Turkey. His passport and personal effects were found in his cabin aboard the ship.

Israel Radio reported that Baruchis is believed to have fallen overboard while the Iris was at sea.
